A Barna study found that only about 28% of Christians fully engage in discipleship — both being discipled and discipling others. 56% of Christians claimed that their spiritual life is “completely private.” About 40% of Christians are not engaged in any form of discipleship at all. Those who *were* fully engaged in active discipleship reported 30–35% higher levels of: - deeper joy and satisfaction in growing toward Jesus - noticeable impact in everyday living - ongoing renewal when spending time with Jesus Jesus’ plan for spiritual maturity is not a private, isolated faith.
