1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Paul reminds believers that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that they are not their own—they were bought with a price. The language is ownership language. In a culture that treats the body primarily as a project of self-expression or personal preference, the biblical claim is still radical: we belong to Another, and that belonging is meant to shape how we treat what has been entrusted to us.
