“Beware of the barrenness of a busy life.” The line is short and diagnostic. Activity can feel like purpose. A packed schedule can look like faithfulness. Yet it is possible to be constantly in motion and still be spiritually thin—relationships neglected, prayer crowded out, the inner life starved while the outer life looks impressive.
