Life repeatedly presents two paths. One looks broader, easier, more immediately rewarding. The other looks narrower and costlier. Scripture never pretends the choice is always obvious in the moment. It does insist that the two paths lead to different destinations, and that the decision is rarely neutral. Standing at the fork is itself a form of responsibility.
