I Have Learned

Philippians 4:11-13

Paul wrote that he had “learned to be content” in whatever situation he found himself. The verb matters. Contentment was not his default setting. It was something acquired through experience with both plenty and want, and through the Christ who strengthened him.

How you’d preach it

Paul’s claim is that contentment is learned, not automatic. Helpful for people who assume it should come naturally.
