What Else Did You Get?

After a sermon, a man approached the preacher Joseph Parker and pointed out a grammatical error. Parker listened, then asked, “And what else did you get out of the message?” The question is still useful. It is possible to listen so carefully for flaws that nothing else is allowed to land. The critical ear can become a closed one.
