Metaphor

The Danger You Don’t See

traditional warning

The greatest spiritual dangers are rarely the obvious ones. They are the slow shifts, the reasonable compromises, the habits that feel harmless because everyone else shares them. Scripture calls for sobriety and watchfulness precisely because the threat that destroys is often the one that never looked like a threat until it was too late.

How you’d preach it

For spiritual vigilance. The most effective threats are often the ones that feel normal.
