Death Does Not Get the Last Word

Death is real, painful, and an enemy. The gospel does not ask us to pretend otherwise. It announces that death’s power has been broken by the resurrection of Jesus and that those who belong to Him will share that victory. Grief is permitted. Despair is not required.
How you’d preach it
Christian hope does not deny the reality of death. It refuses its finality.
