In The Alliance we have long spoken of “the Deeper Life.” It looks like learning to trust Jesus in all areas of life, learning to walk with Him daily, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us into His likeness. Readiness for Christ’s return is not produced by trying harder to be a better Christian. It flows out of dependence on God and abiding in Him.
