Scripture’s waiting is closer to watchfulness than to resignation. It is the posture of those who trust the character of the One…
Hope · Formation
Analogy
biblical pattern (Abraham, Joseph, etc.)
God’s delays are not always denials. Abraham waited decades for the promised son. Joseph spent years in prison before the palace. The waiting itself became part of the formation. When the answer seems slow, the invitation is still to trust the character of the One who has promised rather than the speed of the timeline.
How you’d preach it
For seasons of unanswered prayer or prolonged waiting. God’s timing is rarely ours.
