Micah 3
Story
June 8 – Micah 3 – Listen Up Leaders
Esther was a Jew who became queen, married to a Gentile king. When one of the king’s officials plotted to destroy the Jewish people, Esther faced a choice. She could have chosen safety and the security of her position. Instead her faith and love for God led her to risk her title and her life in order to stand up for justice and save her people. God had placed her in that position for a reason. We may not face the same level of risk, but every follower of Jesus is placed in specific roles — parent, teacher, friend, employer, neighbour — for the purpose of bringing restoration rather than ruin.
How you’d preach it
Biblical example of godly leadership that uses position for the good of others rather than self-protection.
