Harriet Tubman escaped slavery and then returned again and again to lead others to freedom on the Underground Railroad. She never lost a single “passenger.” She could not read. She had no formal maps. She often traveled at night. Her simple declaration of faith was: “I always told God, ‘I’m going to hold steady on You, and You’ve got to see me through.’” And He did.
