No Silver Bullets – Daniel Im
Daniel Im argues that there is no single program, event, or strategy that will magically produce mature disciples. Real discipleship requires a combination of intentional relationships, environments, and practices over time. Leaders often look for the next “silver bullet” (a new curriculum, a better event, a different structure) when what is needed is patient, relational, Spirit-dependent work. Im emphasizes that discipleship is more about the process of becoming than about completing a set of classes.
How you’d preach it
Helpful corrective for churches (and pastors) who keep searching for the perfect system instead of committing to long-term formation.
