Nehemiah 8:10
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” The statement comes in a context of people who had been weeping under the reading of the law. Joy here is not denial of hard things. It is the deeper gladness that comes from knowing who God is and what He has done—and that gladness itself becomes fuel for endurance.
