Pastor Keith Kitchen put it this way: “In view of God’s loving mercy on our lives, it behooves us to love as a neighbour toward others.” We do not become loving neighbours by trying harder. We become loving neighbours when we are first overwhelmed by the mercy we ourselves have received.
