Analogy

Not of This World

John 18:36

Jesus told Pilate, “My kingdom is not of this world.” The point was not that the kingdom is irrelevant to the world, but that it does not advance by the world’s methods. Its power is different. Its definition of greatness is different. Allegiance to it will therefore look different from ordinary political or cultural allegiance.

How you’d preach it

Jesus’ kingdom operates by different power and different measures of success.
