Cliffe Knechtle repeatedly insists that biblical faith is not blind faith. Our culture often defines faith as believing something without (or against) evidence. Biblical faith is different. It is a reasoned trust — a response to the evidence God has given in creation, in history, in the person of Jesus, and in the reliability of the New Testament. Cliffe is clear: if the evidence for Christ were weak, he would not trust Him. Faith does not require the absence of reasons; it requires the presence of good ones.
