Leaning on the Lord Without Obedience

June 8 – Micah 3 – Listen Up Leaders

The corrupt leaders in Micah 3 said, “Is not the Lord among us? No disaster will come upon us.” They used religious language and claimed God’s presence while living in clear injustice and disobedience. It was a form of trust without fruit, without faithfulness, without repentance. It is possible to “lean on the Lord” in a way that is actually presumption — treating God like a safety net while refusing to walk in His ways.
