“If I’m Not Dead, You’re Not Done”

May 4 – The Adventure of Serving

There’s a song our worship team sings called “My Testimony.” One of the lines that has stuck with me is: “If I’m not dead, you’re not done.” If I’m still breathing, God is not finished working in me and through me. That means I am not finished serving Him in whatever way He wants to use me — right up to the point of death. Paul could say near the end of his life that he had fought the good fight and finished the race. Until that day comes for us, the call remains: keep pouring yourself out as an offering.

How you’d preach it

Short, memorable lyric that pushes back against the “I’ve done my time” mentality.
