Scripture does not romanticize pain. It does insist that suffering is not outside God’s reach. The same heat that can destroy can also purify. The difference is often whether the pain is brought to God or carried alone. What is offered to Him can become material for formation rather than only material for bitterness.
How you’d preach it
Pain is not automatically redemptive, but God has a long history of using it.
