Story
May 4 – The Adventure of Serving
Philippians 2:5-8 tells us that Jesus, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage. Instead He made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and humbling Himself to the point of death on a cross. Serving is not just something Jesus *did*. It is tied to who He *is* in His incarnation. When we follow Him, we are called to put on the same mindset. The Christian life is not about climbing higher; it is about descending in love for the sake of others.
