Men Wanted for Hazardous Journey

When Ernest Shackleton looked for men for his Antarctic expedition, the advertisement was blunt: men wanted for hazardous journey, small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful, honour and recognition in case of success. The gospel’s call has a similar honesty. Jesus never hid the cost. He still invited people to follow.
