The Deeper Life (Simpson)

A.B. Simpson writings

A.B. Simpson taught that there is a deeper experience of Christ available to every believer — a life of full surrender and conscious dependence on the indwelling Holy Spirit. This is not a second-class Christianity for the spiritual elite. It is the normal Christian life: Christ living His life through us as we yield to Him. Simpson’s language of “the deeper life” or “the crucified life” was always centered on Jesus, never on technique or self-effort.
