Sin Is Not Small

If sin were a light matter, the cross would be an overreaction. The cost of redemption is itself the revelation of how serious the problem is. Treating sin as a minor flaw or a private preference empties the gospel of its necessity. The disease is mortal. The cure is costly.
How you’d preach it
Culture minimizes sin. Scripture does not. The cross is the measure of its weight.
