Luke 12:35-40 – The Watchful Servants
Most of us know what happens when a teacher or a boss leaves the room and says, “I’ll be right back — keep working.” Some people stay on task. Some work for a few minutes, then slowly drift off. Some work as though the person in charge is never coming back. That same pattern shows up in how we wait for Jesus. The waiting itself is a test of our hearts. The servants who are blessed are not the ones who correctly guessed the hour. They are the ones the Master finds still watching and still serving when He finally returns.
