Jesus told the woman at the well that whoever drinks of the water He gives will never be thirsty again. The claim is that the deepest human thirst is for something only He supplies. Other drinks satisfy for a time. He offers a spring that becomes in the person a source of ongoing life.
How you’d preach it
The thirst is real. What Jesus offers is not a temporary drink but a spring.
