How to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

How to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit – A.W. Tozer

Tozer’s simple but searching answer is that we must first want to be filled. Many Christians are not filled because they do not truly desire the Spirit’s control more than they desire their own way. He stresses that the filling of the Spirit is not primarily about power for ministry or dramatic experiences. It is about the Spirit taking full possession of the believer so that Christ is magnified and the self is dethroned. The path involves honest confession, surrender of known sin, and a deliberate yielding of the will.

How you’d preach it
