The Pursuit of God – A.W. Tozer
Tozer opens *The Pursuit of God* with the observation that the modern church has largely lost the sense of the presence of God. He calls believers to a continuous, unbroken pursuit of God Himself — not merely His gifts, His power, or His blessings. One of his central burdens is that we can become satisfied with the means of grace (sermons, books, meetings) while remaining distant from the God those means are meant to bring us to. “We have been snared in the coils of a spurious logic which insists that if we have found Him we need no more seek Him.”
How you’d preach it
Strong call to ongoing hunger for God rather than settling for religious activity.
