Where There Is No Vision

Proverbs 29:18 (traditional rendering)

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” The proverb is not primarily about strategic plans. It is about the life-giving clarity that comes when God’s ways and purposes are kept in view. Without that horizon, energy disperses and hope thins. Vision, in the biblical sense, is seeing reality as God defines it.
