Story
June 8 – Micah 3 – Listen Up Leaders
Jesus said the religious leaders of His day were like whitewashed tombs — shiny and impressive on the outside, but full of death and corruption on the inside (Matthew 23:27). Micah confronts the same heart condition in the leaders of Israel: they maintained religious language and public position while privately loving evil and exploiting people. The danger is not limited to ancient Israel or first-century Pharisees. Any of us who carry influence can slowly begin to care more about how we appear than about whether we are actually walking with God.
