Esther 4:12–16
Esther has a palace and a secret. Mordecai will not let her keep either. If she is silent, deliverance will come from another place, but she and her father’s house will perish. The line is not a career pep talk. It is a summons with a cost, spoken to a woman who could still choose safety. She asks the people to fast, then walks toward the throne uninvited.
How you’d preach it
Do not turn this into destiny-talk for ambitious people. It is courage with your knees knocking, on behalf of a people who cannot enter the court.
