The king who ate grass
Daniel 4
Nebuchadnezzar walks his roof and credits his own majesty for Babylon. The sentence falls while the words are still in his mouth. He lives like a beast until he lifts his eyes and the reason returns. Daniel records a king’s confession: those who walk in pride he is able to humble. Empire is not too big for that lesson. Neither is a church that talks like a skyline.
How you’d preach it
Use when success is the air. The grass is not cartoon. It is what pride looks like when God lets a man become what he already was.
